During the live broadcast of this year’s annual speech by Lei Jun in 2023, the Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone was officially unveiled. This model marks a significant milestone by introducing IP68 protection to the series. The Redmi K60 Extreme Edition’s starting price is 2,599 yuan.
The device has three color options: Moyu, Yingqing, and Qingxue. It boasts a slim profile of 8.49mm and weighs in at 204g. The design showcases an integrated metal DECO, eliminating the need for a screen bracket. The back cover features a distinctive carbon fiber texture.
At the heart of the Redmi K60 Ultra is the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ flagship processor. It’s accompanied by the Pixelworks X7 discrete display chip, offering exceptional performance. The phone provides up to 24GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB UFS 4.0 flash memory variant, combined with the new Furious Engine 2.0 for enhanced user experience.
Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the Redmi K60 Ultra’s prowess, which supports over 100 144FPS frame-inserting and 30 native 144FPS games.
The device boasts a 6.67-inch 2712×1220 CSOT C7 OLED direct screen with a peak excitation brightness of 2600nit. Its 144Hz refresh rate and 2880Hz high-frequency PWM dimming contribute to a remarkable display experience. The phone relies on a 5000mAh battery, supporting 120W fast charging, a feature that claims to achieve a full charge in just 19 minutes.
In the photography department, the Redmi K60 Ultra sports a 50MP rear primary camera (Sony IMX800) with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 2MP macro camera. The front features a 20MP centered hole-punch lens.
