When the user’s hand presses to the screen, the reflected light returns to the sensor below the screen through the pixel gap, because the fingerprint itself is bumpy, so the reflected light is different, and then cooperate with the algorithm to compare the previously input fingerprint image, so as to achieve accurate recognition.
However, ultrasonic fingerprints can further use the pulse reflection characteristics of ultrasonic waves to generate the corresponding 3D depth data in real time, which can measure the distance between the fingerprint surface and the skin, and thus determine the fingerprint pattern, so whether it is clean, dirty, wet fingerprints can be accurately collected.
In addition to supporting ultrasonic fingerprint, the Redmi K80 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 platform and uses 2K OLED flexible straight screen, which will be Redmi’s most powerful high-end flagship.
The standard version of Redmi K80 is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 platform, the screen is also 2K straight screen, and the new product will debut in Q4 this year.
