Presented to the global public at the beginning of the month, the Redmi Note 10 line has already had its official prices confirmed. However, what really drew attention is that, of the five models announced, only one has support for the 5G network. Known as Redmi Note 10 5G, this device is expected to launch in the Chinese market soon.

Although most of the features are the same as the Redmi Note 10, here we see a must-have, minor discrepancy. This is that the charger that will come out of the phone is worth 22.5W. Redmi Note 10 had 18W fast charging support.
This means, either this variant of the Redmi Note 10 5G, which received the TENAA certification, is exclusive to consumers in China only, or Xiaomi will choose to include the 22.5W adapters it has in its box to keep costs to a minimum. Of course, we need to wait until April, when we will see the global version, to find out which one is correct.
If we recall a few features of the Redmi Note 10, the phone that comes with a 6.5 inch IPS display with a 90Hz repeat rate has a 5000mAh battery and a 48MP main rear camera. In the 5G variant, there is no difference other than this charger. In addition, its design also makes it very clear that the fingerprint reader is located on the device’s power button.
For now, TENAA has not released the device’s numbering. Even so, it will hardly be known in the Chinese market as Redmi Note 10 5G. That’s because Xiaomi usually changes the name of its smartphones several times.
