iGEEKPHONE News, July 9th: REDMI Note 17 Pro has officially announced that it is equipped with a 9000mAh ultra-large capacity Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, supporting 67W fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging.
Jinsha River Battery is a high-density silicon-carbon energy storage solution independently developed by Xiaomi. The silicon content in the negative electrode reaches 16%, and its energy density can reach up to 894Wh/L. Compared with traditional graphite batteries, it can store more power in the same volume of the battery pack.

The official has now revealed several key features of the new device. It features a 1.5K flagship straight screen, which is the strongest screen ever seen in the REDMI Note series.
Equipped with flagship-level luminescent materials, it features a 3500nits super bright screen. It supports Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Protection technology, enabling low-light protection as low as 1nit.
It is covered with the rare Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 of the same grade, capable of challenging the industry’s higher 3-meter marble impact resistance standard. It has obtained the double five-star anti-drop certification from SGS and CQC.

In the official experiment, the Note 17 Pro was subjected to a prolonged water pressure test of 4 MPa, which is equivalent to being washed by a car weighing nearly 1.5 tons. Nevertheless, it remained unscathed in the end.
It features an extremely rare all-round water resistance performance in the same category. It has received multiple waterproof certifications including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K, and has also passed the South German 2-meter 72-hour waterproof test.
Recently, Wei Siqi, the general manager of the marketing department of Xiaomi’s China region, has released the actual phones in four color options. Besides the usual black and white, there are two special color schemes: Sky Blue and Starry Purple.
