Recently, Lei Jun the CEO of Xiaomi launched a survey to check the popularity of the different variants of RedmI Note 7 launched in France last week. The questionnaire included two non-advertised versions such as a 4GB variant of RAM + 128GB of storage and another one with 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage. The company is expected to announce the new edition of the Redmi Note 7 with 4GB of RAM + 128GB storage later in the week.
The variant with 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage proved to be the most popular of the survey. Lei Jun’s recent article published on Weibo(a Chinese social network) suggests that the 6GB edition of RAM + 128GB will be available on the next Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone.
The message of Lei Jun on Weibo was directly addressed to the President of redmi, Lu Weibing, its expectations regarding redmi Note 7 Pro to suggest his models such as 3GB RAM + 32GB of storage, 6GB of RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage. The insertion of the last variant could be a capital clue: Because the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be available with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. On the basis of the prices mentioned in the survey conducted by the CEO, we can say that the variant of Redmi Note 7 Pro with 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage could be priced at 1599 yuan (about $237) or more.
From what we know, the Redmi Note 7 Pro should be formalized just after the Chinese New Year. The company has not yet revealed the official launch date of the device. The Note 7 Pro should have all the specifications of the Redmi Note 7 except for the main photosensor and processor. Because the Redmi Note 7 Pro will feature the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor.
