Previously, the general manager of Redmi brand Lu Weibing has announced that next month we will formally hold a new product launch event to introduce a new generation of Redmi K40 series flagship Smartphones. It is worth noting that according to multiple sources, Redmi K40 does not appear only in one version.
In this regard, today a well-known digital blogger mentioned in the revelations that Redmi K40 will have another version that will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 processor, but the other parameters except SoC remain unchanged.
The Redmi K40, which will be official in the coming weeks, and Lu Weibing also revealed that Redmi K40 will be powered by Snapdragon 888 processor and will feature a “probably the best straight screen”, at the price of 2999 yuan ($467). In addition, the first handset powered by the Snapdragon 870 5G mobile platform is the Motorola Edge S currently. Their starting price is 1999 yuan ($312).
Qualcomm officially launched the Snapdragon 870 5G mobile platform on January 19. The chip uses an enhanced Qualcomm Kryo 585 CPU core. The super core frequency has reached 3.2GHz, which is the highest frequency under the current A77 public version architecture.
