Igeekphone reported on April 21st that the source sumahodigest published a blog post yesterday (April 20th), sharing a set of renderings that showcased the red version of Sony Xperia 1 VIII smartphone and revealing details of the design changes.
In terms of appearance, based on the leaked designs of various phone cases, the Sony Xperia 1 VIII phone will abandon its signature vertical camera header design and adopt a square camera island. The raised part will be closely attached to the edge of the phone.
In terms of the imaging system, Igeekphone previously reported that the new device will be equipped with three 48-megapixel cameras. In contrast, Sony introduced a 48-megapixel main camera and ultra-wide-angle lens in the previous model Xperia 1 VII, but the telephoto lens remained at a relatively low-resolution 12-megapixel sensor.
