Working as a doctor means that I have many phone calls from my patients, all time. In the same time, finding some time for me, to listen to some good music and relax, is something important, I guess not only for me.So for all these reasons I have to have earphones of good quality. So I was very happy when KZ company wanted me to review their latest creation, the KZ AS10 earphones, as the have all that I want from an earphone, high quality and unique design!
The KZ AS10 came to with ordinary post without any problems. The package that I received contained two black boxes. As it was mentioned from outside of the boxes, the one contained with microphone and the other had a pair of AS10 without microphone.
The package in both version was very luxurious, black. On the top side you could see the logo of KZ company and on the side was a sticker saying which exactly version of AS10 I had and in which color. It was send to me in black, but you can find it and in green. The dimensions of the package is 15 x 10 x 5cm and weights 0.3kg.
Opening the box, you see directly two interesting printouts and a sign on the lower part, saying what kind of earphones the box contains. The two interesting printouts where in red, showing a circuit with the KZ logo.
So opening the box, inside you will find the two earphones, a detachable cable that connects to the earphones with two pins, a manual, warranty card and spare ear-tips. The same things can be found in both versions, with or without mic, as their only difference is the existence of the microphone or not.
The KZ AS10 have 32Ω resistance and 106dB sensitivity. The length of the cable is 1.2 meters long with an L type plug type and frequency response of 20 Hz to 20000 Hz.
The KZ AS10 come with 5 Balanced Armatures Per Side. The 5 drivers contain a big dynamic driver handling bass, two drivers handing the high frequencies and finally two drivers handing the middle frequencies.The design of the earphone is made with 3D printer to fit in exactly in your ear without any problem. I really liked the see-through design of the circuit with the KZ logo. The quality of the sound is very good. It doesn’t support noise cancellation, but trust me, you want need one!
