Samsung began rolling out stable Android 13 updates to its smartphones in November 2022. High-end Galaxy smartphones and tablets are the first to get the One UI 5.0 update. New software is gradually being released to mid-range and budget smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy A04 is now getting the Android 13 update.
Android 13 based One UI 5.0 for Galaxy A04 is updated to A045FXXU1BWB1. The new software is currently available in Kazakhstan and may reach more markets in the coming weeks. The update also brings a December 2022 security patch to fix dozens of known security holes. Users can upgrade by going to Settings – Software Update and then “Click Download and Install”.
Samsung first launched the Galaxy A04 with Android 12 six months ago. Since the device is already getting the Android 13 update, it will get at least one more major version of Android in the future, which is expected to be Android 14.
