We already knew that Samsung was planning to renew its mid-range, but what few imagined was that it would launch so many new models of the Galaxy A series in such a short time. In fact, three members of the mentioned family have already seen the light, the Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A30, and the Galaxy A10, and today, the company has announced an event for next April 10, in which we could meet up three new phones.
If finally it is fulfilled what was expected, that day will come the Galaxy A90, the Galaxy A60 and the Galaxy A40. Precisely the latter have leaked some renders that allow us to get a pretty approximate idea of what your design will be like and what some of its characteristics will be.
After passing through the FCC certification body, everything points to the Galaxy A40, a model that is located one step above the Galaxy A30 and one below the A50, will come with a 5.7-inch screen. In addition, in the database of Geekbench, appeared in mid-January a terminal with model number SM-A405FN that was related to the model that concerns us and that included the chip Exynos 7885, 4GB of RAM, Android 9 Pie and a battery of 4000mAh.
Now, the supposed renders published by the German media Winfuture show the existence of a notch in the form of a drop of water, something that, if finally confirmed, means that the panel chosen by Samsung for the Galaxy A40 would be an Infinity-U.
In those renders, we can also see a back part in which we would find, on the one hand, the fingerprint reader, and on the other, the dual camera vertically aligned with the flash just below the two lenses. As for the lower part of Galaxy A40, you can see the presence of the USB-C connector and the headphone jack. And all this is added several colors available and a price that, according to rumors, would be around $300.
