Igeekphone, April 30: Tech media SamMobile released a blog post yesterday (April 29). In the update log of the “Nearby Device Scanning” application version 11.1.23.4, information related to Samsung smart glasses was discovered. After the product is launched, it will be called “Galaxy Glasses”.
According to the update log, it has been confirmed that the Samsung smart glasses are named Galaxy Glasses, and it has also been confirmed that these smart glasses can, like Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watch, support quick pairing and query of remaining battery power.

IGEEKPHONE previously reported that in terms of appearance, this pair of glasses adopts a design similar to sunglasses and may be equipped with photochromic lenses. In terms of hardware configuration, one side of the glasses has a 12-megapixel front-facing camera, while the other side is equipped with LED indicators. At the same time, it has a built-in microphone, speaker and touch-sensitive area.

In terms of hardware specifications, it is highly likely that the Galaxy Glasses will not be equipped with an in-built display. Instead, it will focus on audio and AI experiences. This pair of glasses is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 processor, equipped with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX681 sensor, featuring Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and other wireless technologies. Its weight is approximately 50 grams. It has directional speakers, bone conduction technology, and comes with a 155mAh battery.

In terms of the system, the glasses are expected to be equipped with the Android XR operating system and integrate the Gemini AI assistant. Users can wake up Gemini through voice to obtain answers or perform quick operations. Previous reports indicated that Samsung is developing two devices with code names “Jinju” and “Haean”, with the latter being of a more premium design. This leak did not specify the exact models.
