Igeekphone News, June 10th: There is only about one month left until Samsung releases its new generation of foldable phones – Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. South Korean tech giants have already launched marketing campaigns in advance to build up momentum for these two new products.
Last week, Samsung released a confusing preview, seemingly suggesting that the Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra would be launched next month. Nowadays, Samsung’s promotional focus has shifted to the core elements of foldable screen phones: size and weight. Although we don’t know the exact size of the Galaxy Z Fold7 at present, Samsung made a bold claim in its latest trailer.
Samsung said that the Galaxy Z Fold7 is “the thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable phone to date”. The company also emphasized that its engineers and designers have been striving to improve each generation of the Galaxy Z series to make it thinner, lighter and more durable than the previous generation. Judging from these statements, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will undoubtedly become the thinnest and lightest foldable phone in Samsung’s history.
Igeekphone noticed that, apart from the feature of being thin and light, the internal display screen of the Galaxy Z Fold7 is said to be of the same size as the special Edition of the Z Fold 6. If this claim is true, then the Galaxy Z Fold7 will be equipped with a huge 8.2-inch internal display screen. In terms of size, according to the Revelations in May this year, the thickness of the Galaxy Z Fold7 when unfolded is only 4.54 millimeters, and when folded, it is 9 millimeters. The overall size of the mobile phone is 158.43 millimeters ×143.14 millimeters. In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to be equipped with a 4000 mah battery and the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This foldable phone will be officially released together with the Galaxy Z Flip7 in July.
