Smaller Version of iPhone X? Xiaomi Mi 7 Heavy Information Leaked With Notch Design + 3D Facial Recognition

Xioami Mi 6 was released in April 2017 and this year, due to the presence of Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi Mix 2S and Xiaomi 6X, the release of Mi 7 has been delayed. In the 2 days nearing the end of April, we finally found a trace of its new news. Today a well-known blogger @i digital universe ice shared a new information about upcoming flagship of Xiaomi on China’s Weibo platform.

According to his report the Xiaomi Mi 7 will be used bangs screen design, and it will join the 3D structured light face recognition. From the point of view of the @i Ice universe, the proportion of Xiaomi Mi 7 screen is very exaggerated. Under the current technical conditions, Mi 7 must do this, and in the end, it must work hard to cut off the chin. It also shows that the authenticity of the circulated map is still relatively high.

In addition, according to the rendering that was recently appeared on the internet, Xiaomi 7 in order to achieve an exaggerated screen share, the screen should need to use similar to the iPhone X COP packaging technology. At present, only Samsung has such technical strength, Xiaomi 7 seems to be OK with the Samsung OLED screen. Xiaomi Mi 7 should also be the first Mi Smartphone with OLED screen.

In addition, just in the middle of this month, the rendering of Xiaomi 7 was exposed on the Internet. As can be seen from the picture, in the front of the phone, Xiaomi 7 uses a notch design, the chin is cut off, and the physical fingerprint button is also disappeared, instead of using the fingerprint design under the screen.

On the rear of the body, The upcoming flagship Mi 7 uses a dual camera, the material should be similar to Mi 6 3D glass. Frankly speaking, this phone looks very much like a smaller version of the iPhone X. The configuration of the Xiaomi 7 is not yet clear, but it is basically certain that it will carry the Snapdragon 845 processor and its performance is expected to reach the top level of the Android camp.

However, the Snapdragon 845, fingerprint under the screen with 3D structured light, COP packaging … These selling points together, presumably the price of Xiaomi 7 is not cheaper. Previously, Xiaomi 6 had a starting price of 2,499 yuan $(395). Xiaomi 7 may go further and challenge the price of 3,000 yuan ($473).

Of course, even so, Xiaomi Mi 7 may be one of the cheapest models on the market. After all, Lei Jun’s 5% comprehensive net profit margin is there. Not surprisingly, Xiaomi 7 will be released in the first half of this year and company should devote all his energy to this product. However, this Xiaomi’s Smartphone looks like iPhone X.
