The brand China Tanix, very active in the sector of TV-Box with Android, has just presented the specifications of its first foray into the world of Mini PCs with the model called TANIX TX88. A team that lacks its final characteristics but where we highlight the inclusion of a Quad Core Chip of the Gemini Lake family manufactured in 14nm with totally passive ventilation, no noise, something that is always to our liking.
The TANIX TX88 Mini PC includes an Intel Celeron N4100 processor, a chip with four x86 cores capable of reaching 2.40 GHz in turbo mode, which includes an Intel UHD Graphics 600 with 12EU GPU that is capable of playing video up to resolutions 4K @ 60fps. The RAM is 4GB DDR4 2400Mhz, not expandable, while at the storage level we have 64GB of eMMc 5.0 storage memory that can only be expanded via SD card reader.
TANIX TX88 includes wireless WiFi connectivity Dual Band AC with internal antenna and bluetooth 4.0. As for ports we have 3 USB 3.0, SD card reader, a Gigabit network connector, HDMI 2.0a video output, 3.5mm audio jack and a VGA connector. On the front we also have a digital microphone to communicate with Windows assistant Cortana.
A TANIX TX88 Mini PC for basic use or mediaplayer, since it has support for video in 4K resolutions, but to which we will have to connect an external storage unit to the minimum.
