After Blackberry released Priv, Blackberry started to release its own second smartphone, DTEK50 which is said to be produced by TCL, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer.
Recently, someone exposed that a new smartphone named TCL 950 has spotted on TENAA, in terms of design, it looks like Blackberry DTEK50 very much. It’s noted that this smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor. It makes us surprised that TCL often uses Mediatek chipset.
As for specs, TCL 950 is powered by Snapdragon 820, 2.15Ghz processor, RAM 4GB ROM 64GB, supporting 128GB storage expandable, running Android6.0 OS, built in 3,000mAh battery, back fingerprint scanner. The overall performance seems very reasonable.
But it’s different from Blackberry DTEK50, the back camera stands out more due to using higher pixel camera compared with Blackberry DTEK50. It’s said the upcoming Blackberry DTEK60 has similarity to TCL 950 in design. Just stay tuned.
