Teclast has launched a new, particularly compact notebook with the F7 Plus Ⅱ. A CPU from Intel and a Full HD screen are used. The company tries to offer particularly inexpensive products with a good price-performance ratio – which was also successful with the M40 tablet. The device is equipped with a Gemini Lake Refresh CPU, specifically, the Intel Celeron N4120 is used. The quad-core chip can access eight gigabytes of RAM.
Design
The corners of the aluminum housing are rounded, the weight of the notebook is, according to the manufacturer, around 1.3 kilograms. Among the latest models are F7 Plus Ⅱ, an ultrabook with premium design, good specs, and affordable prices. As befits any ultrabook, the Teclast F7 Plus Ⅱ is constructed entirely of aluminum, is thin (measuring 1.49 centimeters) and quite light (weighing only 1.5 kilograms). The screen is an IPS display with a diagonal measuring 14.0 inches and a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Hardware
Underneath the casing is a decent setup, capable of coping with everyday activities. The processor is an Intel Gemini Lake N4120 Quad Core, running at a standard 1.1GHz, but capable of up to a maximum of 2.6GHz. It’s helped by its 8GB of RAM, as well as the Intel UHD Graphics 600 graphics processor. For storage, the manufacturer provides a 256GB SSD, enough for the OS but also for most applications. The operating system, data, and programs are stored on a 256 gigabyte SSD. The memory can be expanded using a second SSD slot, and there is also the option of using a microSD memory card. The SSD can be easily changed via an extra cover without having to completely disassemble the device.

In terms of connectivity, the Teclast F7 Plus Ⅱ has 2 USB 3.0 ports, a card reader; a 3.5mm audio output jack, and a mini HDMI port. The keyboard is illuminated and the audio system consists of 4 speakers. There’s also a 2-megapixel webcam. Equipped with a 5000mAh/7.6V battery and a low battery consumption processor, battery life will most likely not be a problem. It also comes with Windows 10 (English version – other languages can be downloaded after setup). External storage media can be connected via two type-A USB 3.0 ports, plus a type C connection. Mini-HDMI is built-in, the built-in type C connection obviously does not support image output. An Ethernet connection is not installed; a WiFi 802.11 a / c module with Bluetooth support is available for connection to a network.
