Tecno’s first foldable product, the Phantom V Fold, was officially launched during MWC 2023. The machine weighs 299 grams and has a large display screen and battery capacity.
Tecno Phantom V Fold features a 6.42-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED sub-display with a resolution of 1080×2550 pixels. Inside is a larger 7.85-inch 2000×2296 resolution foldable panel with a 120Hz LTPO panel. It’s a lot bigger than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 display, but not as big as the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, Honor Magic Vs, or vivo X Fold + display.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold has three cameras on the back, including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2x zoom camera and a 13MP ultra-wide Angle camera. It is equipped with a 32MP sub-screen selfie camera and a 16MP selfie camera on the inner screen.
Tecno Phantom V Fold adopts Guet 9000+ chip, based on Taiwan Semiconductor 4nm process. It comes with a 5000mAh battery and 45W of wired charging (wireless charging is not supported). Tecno says the Phantom V Fold can be charged 40% in 15 minutes and fully charged in 55 minutes.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold will be available in 2Q2023 and will be available first in India for Rs 89,999 for 12GB+256GB. Currently about 7551 RMB), 12GB+512GB at 99,999 Indian rupees (Note: Currently about 8390 RMB). Tecno will be offering a special early bird discount starting at Rs 79,999 (IGeekphone note: currently around RMB6,712).
