Igeekphone News, September 17th: According to @Digital Chat Station, the latest benchmark scores of the Xiaomi 17 series phones have appeared on Geekbench.
Data shows that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 processor equipped in the new device scored nearly 12,000 points in the multi-core performance test, a score that has surpassed that of the Apple A19 Pro processor. The single-core score exceeded 3800 points. The blogger claimed that the full-power performance of this phone might be even higher, and it is expected to equal the score of the A19 Pro. If this is the case, then the Android camp will achieve a “double kill” of CPU and GPU against Apple for the first time.

According to Igeekphone, the Xiaomi 17 series includes three products: Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Both Pro and Pro Max are equipped with a brand-new “Enjoy Back Screen”. Lei Jun, the founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, previously stated: “The Xiaomi 17 series has undergone a generational upgrade in product capabilities, fully competing with the iPhone and going head-to-head.” The official has not yet announced the release time of the new model. This afternoon, Lu Weibing, a partner and president of Xiaomi Group, president of the mobile phone department, and general manager of the Xiaomi brand, announced that he will start a live stream at 7 p.m. on September 19th to answer the “17 most frequently asked questions” about the Xiaomi 17 series.
