Igeekphone News, April 28th: The latest leaks have revealed the core configuration of SONY’s upcoming mid-range new phone Xperia 10 VII. The information indicates that the upgrade is limited, and the major difference is that the processor has been upgraded from Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen1 to Snapdragon 6 Gen4.
Sumaho Digest disclosed that the Xperia 10 VII will continue to have a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen, but did not reveal the refresh rate of the new device. Previously, it was reported that the device would be upgraded to a 120Hz refresh rate for the first time.
It is worth noting that although the flagship model Xperia 1 VII is rumored to have a screen aspect ratio adjusted to 19.5:9, Xperia 10 VII will still maintain the signature 21:9 aspect ratio.
In terms of core configuration, it is reported that the Xperia 10 VII will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen4 processor. Although the name seems to be a major upgrade (the previous generation model was equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen1), the actual test of Notebookcheck shows that its CPU performance has only increased by 10% to 15%.
It is revealed that the main camera of the new model will be upgraded to 50 million pixels (the previous generation had 48 million pixels), continuing to have 8GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery, and retaining the signature independent shutter button design.
