Igeekphone News, May 22nd: Tonight, Xiaomi held its 15th anniversary strategic new product launch event, and the highly anticipated Xiaomi 15S Pro made its official debut.
The biggest highlight of this device is the world’s first Xiaomi self-developed Xuanjie O1 chip, and its complete specifications and performance have thus been revealed.
The Xuanjie O1 chip is a key achievement of Xiaomi’s ten-year chip-making efforts. Xiaomi has made huge investments. As of the end of April 2025, the cumulative R&D investment in the Xuanjie project has exceeded 13.5 billion yuan, with a research and development team of over 2,500 people. It is expected that the R&D investment in 2025 will exceed 6 billion yuan.
The Xuanjie O1 is manufactured using TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process technology, integrating up to 19 billion transistors and featuring a 10-core CPU architecture design.
Specifically, the CPU is an innovative 10-core architecture (2×Cortex-X925 super-large cores @3.9GHz+4×Cortex-A725 large cores @3.4GHz+4×Cortex-A520 energy-efficient cores), and the GPU is equipped with 16 cores Immortalis-G925.
The official Antutu benchmark score has exceeded 3 million, directly matching the performance of first-tier flagships such as Apple and Qualcomm.
In daily applications, compared with iPhone 16 Pro Max, the startup response time is shortened by 30.4%. In terms of game heating, the frame rate is higher and the temperature is lower.
The cooling system has been upgraded to the wing-shaped ring-shaped cold pump Pro, which adopts a bionic vein printed capillary structure, enabling the Xuanjie O1 to perform at its best.
Let’s take a look at the details of the Xiaomi 15S Pro again. The appearance continues the overall solution of the Xiaomi 15 Pro. The weight is reduced to 216g and the thickness is 8.33mm.
The back features a new XRING self-developed chip LOGO, paired with a gold-embossed logo and a golden power button, enhancing its high-end recognition. It is available in two color options: Sky Blue and Dragon Scale Fiber Edition.
The front features a 6.73-inch 2K full-depth four-micro-curved screen with a resolution of 3200×1440. It uses the M9 light-emitting material from China Star Optoelectronics, with a peak brightness of 3200 nits and a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1. It supports an LTPO adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300Hz.
The rear Leica Summilux triple camera system has the following specific specifications:
Main camera: 50MP Light Hunter 900 sensor (1/1.3-inch large sensor, 2.4μm fusion pixels, f/1.44 aperture, 7P lens +OIS)
Ultra-wide-angle: 50MP JNI sensor (115° viewing Angle, 5cm macro, f/2.2 aperture)
Ultra-telephoto: 50MP IMX858 sensor (5X periscope optical zoom, f/2.5 aperture, OIS+EIS dual image stabilization)
Equipped with the fourth-generation three-segment ISP architecture, it supports AI processing in the full focal range RAW domain. It has added HDR fusion and AI noise reduction hardware units, improving the signal-to-noise ratio of night scene videos by 13dB. It supports 4K 30FPS full focal range night scene recording, and third-party applications (such as wechat Video and Douyin Live streaming) can directly call for low-light optimization capabilities.
It is equipped with a 6100mAh Jinsha River silicon-oxygen anode battery, with an energy density of 850Wh/L, and supports 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
In other aspects, the Xiaomi 15S Pro also supports UWB ultra-wideband technology, which can achieve centimeter-level positioning. When linked with the Xiaomi YU7 car, it can automatically welcome guests and unlock the trunk seamlessly. The Yunba Line of Shenzhen Metro also supports UWB seamless passage.
The Xiaomi 15S Pro is only available in two specifications. The 16GB+512GB version is priced at 5,499 yuan, and the top-of-the-line 16GB+1TB version is 5,999 yuan. The first release supports national subsidies, and the starting price is 4,999 yuan.
