iGEEKPHONE News reported on May 13th that the official announcement for Xiaomi 17 Max is set for this month, and the expected launch date is May 21st.
Just now, Xiaomi officially released multiple angle photos of the device, showcasing the design details of the new model. The new color featured in this presentation is Sky Blue.

From the exterior, the new model clearly resembles the design language of the Xiaomi 15 series. The rear camera uses an integrated design, which actually appears to be more streamlined compared to the standard version of the Xiaomi 17.
The rear camera system consists of three cameras, including a telephoto lens. It is expected to offer better photography capabilities. However, it also provides new options for Xiaomi users who demand a back screen. Moreover, it also supports the Leica imaging system.

The front part features a very narrow, quadrilateral-shaped 6.9-inch large straight screen, combined with an extremely large R-corner design, resulting in an outstanding visual effect.
Although it is of an extremely large size, the Xiaomi 17 Max adopts a quadruple-curved wrap-around frame. The metal frame will extend a part onto the back panel to connect with the rear cover, and the transition is very smooth, making the grip feeling of the large screen more comfortable.

Thanks to the large-sized body, Xiaomi has for the first time achieved an 8000mAh battery for the digital series. It supports 100W wired fast charging + 50W wireless fast charging, and is compatible with the 100W PPS protocol.
Equipped with the 5th-generation Snapdragon 8 supreme edition, along with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage, it features top-of-the-line specifications.

According to the revelations from blogger Digital chat Station, the starting price of Xiaomi 17 Max is expected to be 5,199 yuan, which is slightly higher than that of Xiaomi 17 Pro.
