Google announced that it will hold an event on October 6 at 23:00 Beijing time to unveil the Pixel 7 / Pro line and a number of new accessories.
The Pixel 7 / Pro series, which is available on the Google Store, has a next-generation Tensor chip. Tensor G2, as it was called on its official profile page.
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will bring more useful personalization features for photos, videos, security and voice recognition thanks to the Tensor G2 processor, Google said.

Tensor G2 is going to be made by Samsung. It’s going to be made by Samsung 4NM LPE, it’s going to be two very high performance cores Cortex X1, two very large cores Cortex A78 and four very small cores Cortex A55, and it’s going to be ARMv9. Antutu running points are expected to break through 800,000 points.
The Google Store also revealed the colors of the new device, with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro coming in three colors each:
Google already warmed up the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel Watch during its Google I/O keynote in May 2022. The Pixel 7 / Pro phones will come pre-loaded with the Android 13 operating system, bringing more useful personalization features for photo, video, security and voice recognition.
Google has revealed how the Pixel 7 / Pro series will look, and the overall design continues the “blast shield” style of the Pixle 6 / Pro series.
The Pixel 7 / Pro’s full image specs have been revealed previously, with whistleblower Kuba pointing out that both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will use the 11MP Samsung 3J1 as the front sensor, it uses the same Samsung GN1 main sensor and SONY IMX381 ultra wide angle sensor as the previous generation. The difference is that the telephoto sensor has been changed to Samsung GM1 in this year’s Pro.
Additionally, Google Pixel 7/7 Pro has been certified by the FCC, which shows that it supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, and NFC capabilities. Previous leaks revealed that Google’s Pixel 7 series, which will feature a 2K flexible screen, will be available for pre-order starting October 6 and on sale October 13.
The Pixel Watch is the first smartwatch designed and built by Google, and the first time Google has combined its own work with Fitbit’s health and fitness expertise to run the new, redesigned WearOS, it is designed to work with all Pixel and Android phones as well as the Pixel Buds Pro and Pixel Buds a series of wireless headphones.

Before that, there was the Pixel 7 prototype, which had a dual-camera rear camera, and the Pixel 7 Pro, which had a three-camera rear camera, which was in line with Google’s official release of images. Both models feature a centered, single-hole forward camera, though the Pixel 7 Pro has a narrower bezel than the Pixel 7. The Pixel 7 also has a narrower top bezel and a smaller overall size than the Pixel 6.
