iGEEKPHONE News, October 30th: Blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that vivo will launch the S50 Pro mini in the second half of this year.
This device will continue the small-screen strategy of its predecessor, featuring a 6.3-inch small straight screen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5 platform, and equipped with a periscope telephoto lens. It is the first Snapdragon 8 Gen5 small-screen flagship in the industry.
It is reported that the Snapdragon 8 Gen5 adopts TSMC’s 3nm process technology. Its CPU consists of 2*3.8GHz super-large cores and 6*3.32GHz large cores, and integrates the Adreno 840 GPU. Its Antutu benchmark score has exceeded 3.3 million points, with a single-core score of around 3000 points and a multi-core score of around 10,000 points.

Digital Chat Station stated that the CPU performance of Snapdragon 8 Gen5 is basically on par with that of Snapdragon 8 Elite, while its GPU performance is slightly inferior.
In addition, the vivo S50 Pro mini will also inherit the full-field studio-level portrait function of the S30 Pro mini, allowing you to take portrait photos at any time.
The previous model, S30 Pro mini, can cover five golden focal lengths: 23mm landscape portrait, 35mm narrative portrait, 50mm classic portrait, 85mm portrait portrait, and 100mm close-up portrait. Whether for daily recording or extreme creation, it can be easily handled.
