On October 28th, Igeekphone reported that according to the blogger Digital Chat Station, the REDMI Turbo 5 series is gradually being filed for record and will take over the 2K price range below the K series.
According to previous reports, the REDMI Turbo 5 is set to debut in December this year. It will be the world’s first to feature the Mediatek Dimensity 8500. This chip is built on TSMC’s 4nm process, adopts an Arm all-core architecture, and integrates the Mali-G720 GPU. Its Antutu benchmark score is set at over 2 million points, and its overall performance is close to that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3.

In addition to performance upgrades, the REDMI Turbo 5 will also be upgraded to a metal frame and a large R corner design, significantly enhancing the texture and aligning with the Pro.
The screen remains a 6.6-inch 1.5K design, and the overall appearance is still minimalist. It is expected to maintain a dual-camera setup.
This device will also be equipped with a large-capacity battery of over 7000mAh, significantly enhancing its battery life.
According to the previous generation’s plan, the REDMI Turbo 5 series will also have a Pro version, with further performance upgrades and equipped with flagship processors.
It is reported that the REDMI Turbo 5 Pro is expected to be equipped with the Dimensity 9500e or the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8, and in other aspects, it is not much different from the Turbo 5.
