On December 12th, Igeekphone reported that ASUS recently launched a ROG Strix XG27JCG monitor on its official website. It features a 5K resolution combined with a 180Hz refresh rate, which is a first in the gaming monitor market.
The ROG Strix XG27JCG features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel that natively supports a 5K resolution of 5120 x 2880 and can achieve a refresh rate of 180Hz through overclocking.
This monitor also features dual-mode functionality, allowing users to switch to QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution and increase the refresh rate to 330Hz to meet the demands of players who have requirements for ultra-high response speed.

This monitor features a pixel density of 218 PPI, a peak brightness of 600 nits, and has been certified by VESA DisplayHDR 600. It covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has a color depth of 10-bit.
The XG27JCG also supports both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies simultaneously, and incorporates features such as ELMB 2 and Variable Overdrive.
Asus has also integrated some AI functions into this monitor, such as dynamic shadow enhancement, dynamic crosshaint and AI Visual mode, which can automatically adjust the picture Settings according to the viewing environment.

The bracket is a hexagonal base, supporting height adjustment of 110mm, pitch adjustment of -5° to 20°, horizontal rotation of ±40°, and vertical rotation of ±90°.
In terms of interfaces, two HDMI 2.1, one DP 1.4, one USB-C (supporting DP Alt), one USB-C (supporting 15W output), and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A are provided. The DP 2.1 interface is not provided.

The official pricing and release details have not been confirmed yet, but Hong Kong retailer Faroll has listed it, with a pre-sale price of HK $6,499 (approximately RMB 5,891).
