Mobvoi came up with the Wear OS smartwatch which in my opinion is the most powerful on the market. It is a TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra Smartwatch. The watch is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 4100 chip, uses two screens and has a battery life of up to five days. Unlike most other Wear OS clocks that can only last around less than two days.
Design
The premium value also remains the same, only Mobvoi has replaced some plastic building materials with strong nylon along with fiberglass. The watch strap is made of durable Fluoro rubber and can withstand high temperatures. Mobvoi is also honest with the stronger build quality, as many times this watch is dropped and bumped – it is still in good condition and as if new. The envelope size is 47 x 48 x 12.3 mm and weighs 41 grams without the strap. This is a standard size for a smartwatch, and the weight of the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS is rather lighter. I have no comments about the comfort of wearing.
Display
With a size of 1.4 inches, it has a resolution of 454×454 pixels at 326ppi. The manufacturer has chosen the classic AMOLED for a model of this kind. This is what we can learn from this device. If it does not crush the competition with incredible pixel density, infallible brightness at all times or ultra-advanced intelligent functions, it nevertheless fulfills its role perfectly.
Hardware
The interior is still the same as the Snapdragon Wear 4100 and is matched with Mobvoi’s own dual-core chip for the second screen. Other brands will use the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ for a better Always On Display but not required for the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS as it already has its own. Memory also remains with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
Features
There is a full package of connectivity with Wi-Fi, NFC (fans of mobile payments with Google Pay can blur their feet), and support for 5 satellite navigation standards. Add to this a strong sensor package and IP68 resistance along with meeting the requirements of the military standard MIL-STD-810G, and it turns out that we are dealing with the perfect candidate for a smartwatch that will meet the needs of most fans of such gadgets. It is paired with Android and iOS devices via Bluetooth 5.0 connection. TicWatch Pro 3 is equipped with a whole constellation of sensors and even GPS for accurate monitoring of outdoor sports activities. The HD-PPG sensor can continuously monitor the heart rate, warn of atrial fibrillation, monitor blood oxygen saturation, and at night the quality of sleep in stages. In addition, it offers monitoring of stress levels and breathing training.
Speaker
TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS has a built-in speaker and microphone. It allows you to answer voice calls without reaching for the phone. If we decide to buy an eSIM, you can make calls without a smartphone, but I have not checked it in practice.
Battery
This good performance is combined with excellent autonomy, backed by a large 577 mAh capacity battery that is capable of withstanding two days of use without problems with basically all the activity and health monitoring options enabled, the Always-on Display mode enabled and FSTN mode disabled.
Verdict
The experience is fantastic, with a comfortable yet roomy size that displays a lot of information, and almost limitless spheres. The configuration capabilities will be huge with this Android system.
