When Vaporesso announced the new VIBE series, including the VIBE and VIBE SE, I was curious to see how they’d shake up the mouth-to-lung (MTL) scene. Known for innovation and quality, Vaporesso’s latest duo is more than just a stylish update—it’s a rethink of how MTL vaping should feel. After using both extensively, here’s my take—with a heavier focus on the SE, the standout sibling.

First Impressions & Design

Let’s talk aesthetics—both the VIBE and VIBE SE are modern, minimal, and pocket-friendly. But the VIBE SE immediately caught my attention. Its soft finish and vivid color palette (I personally went for the gradient green) give it a younger, more energetic feel. It’s slimmer than many pods, yet doesn’t feel fragile. The single button operation keeps things simple without losing functionality, thanks to the Axon chip powering everything inside.

While the VIBE (non-SE) keeps the look even more minimal and sleek, I preferred the SE for its refined texture, easier grip, and tactile button that doubles for mode switching.

Tech Under the Hood: Dual Mesh & AXON Intelligence

Here’s where the real magic happens. Both devices use Vaporesso’s new Dual Mesh coil system. Unlike typical MTL mesh pods, this system uses a dual-layer heating setup to offer not one, but two types of output depending on the selected mode:

• ECO Mode: Activates one mesh at a time in alternating pulses. It’s incredibly efficient and extends pod life noticeably—great for daily vapers wanting longevity without sacrificing flavor.

• PWR Mode: Engages both mesh layers at once for a stronger hit and denser vapor. This is where the pod really flexes its muscles, delivering bold flavor and a satisfying throat hit even with high-nicotine e-liquids.

Switching between modes is as simple as holding the button. There’s no app, no screen, no complicated menu. The Axon chip takes care of the backend so you can just vape.

Vaping Experience – Flavor, Draw, and Consistency

Let’s get this out of the way: these pods are absolute flavor bombs.

The new 0.8Ω Dual Mesh Pod (yes, that’s the final release resistance confirmed) performs far above expectations. Even in ECO mode, flavor clarity is superb. With freebase juices or nic salts, it handles both with zero dry hits and excellent wick saturation.

In PWR mode, the draw becomes warmer and vapor output ramps up to a near-RDL intensity. I found this especially satisfying in the morning with coffee or when I needed a bit more punch from my usual 20mg salt.

Airflow is fixed, but dialed in right where a satisfying MTL draw should be—not too tight, not too loose. It’s quiet, smooth, and just the right level of resistance.

The pods themselves are leak-proof, side-filled, and crystal clear—so monitoring juice levels is easy. Lifespan? I’ve pushed a single pod past 20ml of e-liquid without flavor drop-off.

Battery Life & Charging

The VIBE SE is powered by a 1200mAh battery, while the VIBE standard version runs a 1000mAh cell. Both charge via USB-C with fast charging support (roughly 40-45 minutes to full). In ECO mode, the SE lasted me nearly two full days of moderate use. PWR mode naturally drains a bit faster, but even then I never felt range anxiety.

One thoughtful feature—there’s a subtle vibration feedback system and color LED ring that lets you know your mode and battery level. Clean, simple, no distractions.
