After the cancellation of MWC 2020, Vivo decided to make a dedicated launch for APEX 2020. Last week, the company sent an invitation to the press confirming that the Chinese manufacturer will hold a conference on February 28, 2020, to present its new Vivo APEX 2020 Smartphone.
Before the event, the brand has published a promotional video where we see the design of the smartphone with its screen with curved edges at 120 °. A few hours ago, the reliable Ben Geskin also took the opportunity to confirm other details of the device.
Thus, Its cascading screen must have a 120º curvature. And the display can also count on support for a 120 Hz refresh rate. Another important highlight is the camera that promises a variable optical zoom (“5-7.5x “) without loss of quality.
The second lens has 48MP and should offer excellent video stabilization. This detail can be seen with the brand “gimbal camera”, which has been the target of other teasers published by Vivo.
Finally, the last highlight listed by Geskin is the 60W fast wireless charging. Remember that vivo has focused on publishing details involving the two rear cameras of the new APEX 2020.
