Today, Vivo held a new product launch conference in Taiwan and officially announced 2 new Vivo V11 and V11i Smartphone. Both Smartphones adopt a 3D glass with metal middle frame design, providing two colors of nebula blue and starry black. Thus, in terms of appearance, the V11 and its sibling can compete with any top-notch model. Besides the drop screen design, they also come with a gradient back color.
The Vivo V11 features 6.3-inch Halo View Display. The IPS LCD panel supports Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, the screen aspect ratio is 19:9. The MediaTek Helio P60 chipset that includes 2.0 GHz octa-core process is present under the hood of the V11. The SoC is supported by 6GB of RAM and it has an inbuilt storage of 128GB. There is a microSD card slot for more storage. It measures 155.97 x 75.63 x 8.1mm and it weighs 163.7 grams.
The small notch at the front houses 25MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The back side of the phone features 16MP + 5MP dual camera setup with f/2.2 dual apertures. The front camera carries support for face recognition.
According to the official introduction, the Vivo V11 series has seven AI functions, including AI auto portrait composition, AI backlight photo, AI smart face, AI dim mode, AI selfie light effect, AI scene recognition, etc. This series supports 18 scene recognition and added Google Lens function, which allows it to automatically identify the shot objects and present relevant information.
It includes a 3315mAh battery. The handset carries support for 9V/2A fast charging. As mentioned above, the Vivo V11i has the same specs that are present on the V11. The only difference is that the V11i has 4GB of RAM instead of 6GB of RAM. The Vivo V11 and V11i are respectively priced at NT$11,990 ($389) and NT$9,990 ($324).
