OPPO released two new foldable phones in its Find N2 series late last year, with the small foldable Find N2 Flip proving to be a hit, and now vivo is preparing its first clamshell foldable phone.
Blogger Digital Chat Site revealed the specs of the new device, or vivo X Flip, today.
The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ chip and will use Taiwan Semiconductor’s 4nm manufacturing process. The CPU is still a 1+3+4 cluster architecture, with the Cortex-X2 super-large core upped to 3.2GHz.
It also features a 6.8-inch OLED display with a single-hole center design and 120Hz high brush, and a square secondary screen.
In addition, it will have a circular lens module, a 50 megapixel SONY IMX866 main camera, supported by 12 megapixel SONY IMX663 lens, and a built-in 4400mAh battery with 44W fast charge.
In addition to the vivo X Flip, vivo X Fold2, vivo Pad2 and other products will be released in the second quarter of this year.
