At 19:00 on April 20, vivo will hold a launch event for its flagship folding series, which will feature three new products, vivo X Fold2, vivo X Flip and vivo Pad2.
vivo today announced the detailed configuration of its folding flagship vivo X Fold2, which will feature nine world-leading technologies.
First up is the screen. Vivo X Fold2 features an internal and external 2K E6 flagship dual home screen with an internal screen area of 8.03 inches, 2160 by 1916 resolution, 120Hz high brush and peak brightness up to 1800nit. The exterior screen is also 2K E6 and covered with UTG glass.
In terms of performance, the new flagship is equipped with the world’s only second-generation Snapdragon 8 SPU custom flagship chip, with more than 1.34 million runs, and has SPU chip level security protection.
It is worth mentioning that vivo X Fold2 also uses 120W dual-core flash charging +50W wireless flash charging, wired charging up to 10 minutes faster to 50%, 26 minutes to 100%. This is the world’s first Snapdragon II 8 hundred watt flash charger folding flagship.
In addition, the new phone is equipped with a self-developed aviation-grade droplet hinge, which has been certified for 400,000 folds in Rhine, features a large area VC liquid cooling, supports dual-screen 3D ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking, wireless lossless Hi-Fi, 5G carrier polymerization, and Wi-Fi 7.
