Igeekphone News, June 9th: At the beginning of this month, blogger @Digital Chat Station revealed that the vivo X Fold5 phone is tentatively scheduled to debut this month. This phone supports 90W wired charging, provides IMX882 periscope and wireless charging, is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and is positioned as “thin, light and large foldable”.
Igeekphone has noticed that Han Boxiao, the product manager of vivo, has been constantly warming up for the vivo X Fold5 recently, claiming that this device will be the world’s first rugged large foldable phone and break the global record for the lightest X Fold3. Today, Han Boxiao once again warmed up for the vivo X Fold5, stating that the X Fold5 not only achieves the highest level of dust and water resistance but also offers a stronger “third protection”. Even when placed in an environment of -20°C for a long time, it can ensure that all functions operate normally.
Han Boxiao said that not only that, the second-generation semi-solid battery technology of X Fold5, on the basis of the previous generation, extends the solid electrolyte from the positive electrode to the negative electrode, enabling the blue ocean battery of X Fold5 to supply power normally at -30°C for the first time, and further upgrading the battery’s anti-freezing ability.
It is worth mentioning that a new vivo model, V2507A, passed the domestic 3C certification on May 30th. It supports 90W fast charging and is expected to feature a vivo X Fold5 foldable screen. More information about this new model.
