Igeekphone reported on May 21st that at tonight’s Xiaomi Car Home Full Ecosystem New Product Launch Event, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 17 Max mobile phone. The starting price after national subsidies is 4,299 yuan. Pre-orders have been opened and the official sale will start at 10 a.m. on May 25th.
Igeekphone has noticed that in terms of appearance, the Xiaomi 17 Max features a 6.9-inch ultra-narrow quadrilateral straight screen, a four-curved wraparound frame, an ultra-elliptical large R-angle, and offers three color options: white, clear sky blue, and pixel black.
In terms of the screen, Xiaomi 17 Max features a screen with super pixel technology. The official claims that its clarity is comparable to a 2K screen and it consumes less power than a 1.5K screen. This is also a super bright screen, using M10 light-emitting material and boasting a peak brightness of 3500nits. The screen is protected by the third-generation Dragon Crystal glass, with the drop resistance performance enhanced by 20 times. The screen supports 1-120Hz LTPO and defaults to full brightness class DC dimming (with the option to switch to 2160Hz PWM dimming).
The Xiaomi 17 Max boasts the longest battery life in the Xiaomi series of phones. It features an 8000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery with a silicon content of up to 16%, an ultra-high energy density of 894Wh/L, and supports 100W wired super-fast charging and 50W wireless super-fast charging. It is compatible with the 100W PPS protocol and is equipped with Hyper P3 fast charging chip + Hyper G2 battery management chip.
The Xiaomi 17 Max is equipped with a Leica optical triple camera. It features the first Leica 2-billion-pixel main camera, with an ultra-clear pyramid-coated surface, a 1/1.4-inch large sensor, and supports 2-billion mode multi-frame fusion computing.
The Xiaomi 17 Max is equipped with a large sensor rear telephoto lens. It uses a 1/2-inch large sensor, featuring a 3x golden portrait focal length, a 6x optical-grade lossless zoom, and is also adept at 15cm close-up photography.
The Xiaomi 17 Max also supports high-definition Live streaming, with default ultra-clear 4K output.
The Xiaomi 17 Max is equipped with the 5th generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Platform. It adopts a three-dimensional ring-shaped cold pump cooling system, specifically designed for large screens, and supports high-quality gameplay of “Shenron” with extremely high frame rates. It can run continuously at full frame for 5.7 hours. It also features a three-dimensional dual speaker system，an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor， and Xiaomi Starry Communication.
