Igeekphone News, June 22: According to a blogger’s revelation, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is set to make its official debut in September this year, and its imaging configuration information has also been leaked in advance.
This time, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be the first to feature a brand-new Leica 2-billion-pixel main camera. The sensor model is Sisic SCC90XS. This sensor made its debut in April this year. It not only has a high resolution of 2 billion pixels, but also has a 1/1.28-inch ultra-large sensor area. It is manufactured based on the 22nm Stack advanced process and is the first to support LOFIC HDR 3.0 technology. The dynamic range can reach up to 105dB, significantly outperforming similar competitors.

During actual shooting, even in scenes with high-contrast lighting such as those with light boxes, this sensor is able to reproduce the light and shadow effects that are more in line with the intuitive perception of the human eye. The high-contrast areas in the picture rarely suffer from severe overexposure or loss of details.
In terms of focusing, the SCC90XS supports two fast focusing modes: 100% full pixel focusing and 6% partial pixel phase detection focusing. It can flexibly switch according to the light conditions and achieve a good balance between speed and power consumption, thus realizing high-speed and precise focusing performance.

In addition to the upgrade in imaging technology, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will also be the first in the world to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8E6 Pro flagship platform. It will also come with an extremely large battery and a 100-watt fast charging technology. The screen quality is also expected to be upgraded, enhancing its all-round capabilities.
From the configuration perspective, this will be the most powerful digital flagship model in Xiaomi’s history. Besides Pro Max, Xiaomi 18 Pro will also be unveiled simultaneously.
