Since the beginning of the summer of this year, Xiaomi company offers owners of many branded phones to try out the firmware MIUI 10 as part of the beta testing program, which may have already managed to do. Now all smartphone owners are interested in when the Chinese corporation is going to release a stable final assembly of this firmware. Today, representatives of the company in an interview with the Chinese edition of MyDrivers disclosed the timing of this idea.
In particular, as the representatives of the MIUI team informed, the final stable assembly of MIUI 10 absolutely definitely will not work for any of the branded phones before September. The approximate date for the beginning of the distribution of the new firmware is September-October this year. First of all, the new OS will be received by the owners of the most advanced and modern smartphones, including Mi 8, Mi MIX 2S, Mi 6X, Redmi Note 5, and many others.
It is important to note that these terms are relevant for the Chinese version of the firmware MIUI 10, which is intended for phones sold in China. If we talk about the global stable firmware, then its release will happen only 1 – 2 months after the Chinese build. This means that the first smartphones Xiaomi in Russia, Europe and other regions of the world will begin to receive a new OS only in November, and possibly later. Alas, the Chinese corporation does not say why the latest software will be tested for so long.
Customers who have upgraded their smartphones to beta MIUI 10 note the high speed, good autonomy and the almost complete absence of any problems, that is, everything points to the fact that developers have to fulfill a minimum set of actions. Nevertheless, according to representatives of Xiaomi, everything is not so simple, and now the work on the new firmware is only half completed. Thus, all owners of branded phones should be patient and wait or updated to stable test assemblies now.
