Xiaomi Band 11 Series Certified Ahead of Launch, Retains 233mAh Battery Capacity

The upcoming Xiaomi Band 11 series has taken another step toward its official debut after receiving regulatory approval, with newly revealed certification details suggesting that the next-generation fitness tracker will retain the same battery capacity as its predecessor.

According to information reported on July 10, two Xiaomi Bluetooth devices carrying the model numbers M2616B1 and M2617B1 received radio certification from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in June.

Well-known Chinese tech blogger ExperienceMore claims that the two model numbers correspond to the Xiaomi Band 11 and the Xiaomi Band 11 NFC version. The certification indicates both devices are equipped with a 233mAh battery, matching the battery capacity of the current Xiaomi Band generation. While the unchanged battery size may seem conservative, Xiaomi could still improve overall battery life through hardware optimization and more efficient software.

Another reliable leaker, Wisdom Pikachu, has suggested that the Xiaomi Band 11 series is scheduled for release during the second half of 2026, although Xiaomi has yet to announce an official launch date.

The latest certification follows Xiaomi’s established naming convention for its wearable products. Earlier devices bearing model numbers M2551B1 and M2553B1 were associated with the Xiaomi Band 10 Pro and Xiaomi Band 10 Pro NFC variants, respectively.

In addition, Xiaomi’s upcoming wearable roadmap has been hinted at through overseas regulatory filings. In May, a Xiaomi wearable device with model number M2561B1 appeared in both Singapore’s IMDA database and Taiwan’s NCC certification database, where it was identified simply as a smart band. Although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed its commercial name, the certification further indicates that the company is actively preparing its next-generation wearable lineup for international markets.

At this stage, detailed specifications for the Xiaomi Band 11 remain under wraps. However, based on previous product cycles, users can expect refinements in health tracking, fitness features, software experience, and system optimization rather than a major increase in battery capacity.

With multiple certifications now completed and launch rumors continuing to circulate, the Xiaomi Band 11 series appears to be moving steadily toward its official unveiling later this year. More information, including hardware upgrades, pricing, and regional availability, is expected to emerge in the coming months.
