Today it has been leaked that Xiaomi has requested the trademark registration «POCO F2», which would be the indicator that the brand could finally launch the expected Pocophone F2.
According to the image below, this registration was carried out last December. Only a few days before that several images of a terminal with the Poco badge leaked that followed the same schemes as the Mi 9T Pro.
Since Redmi separated as an independent sub-brand, Little has had less and less presence. This is because Redmi has ” eaten ” its target market following the same strategy as Poco but with the plus of having a more established brand and team.
Despite this, several leaders of Poco have wanted to downplay it and in recent months they have warned us that in this 2020 Little would bring news. This trademark registration could be a mere strategy to intimidate the competition.
Even so, we hope that Poco will take out a new terminal that really surprises even if it is not in specifications, that it is at least in price because India is its main market and the price of the terminals is one of the keys for this market.
