Recently, Xiaomi was introduced the new Himo H1, a compact electric Bicycle that emphasizes portability. The Himo H1 model can be folded up to the size of an A3 sheet of paper and weighs only 13kg. The entire vehicle structure, including the steering wheel, is foldable and all have folding locks.
Today, the company has launched Himo H1 Transformers Theme priced at 2899 yuan. The electric Bicycle is available in blue and yellow and is inspired by the Transformers universe with names like Optimus Prime or Bumblebee. Available only in China, for now, it could be sold in other territories like the other electric vehicles of the brand (including Himo C16 or Himo T1).
Its first 2 wheels will be folded under the frame, then folded in half, then the seat and steering wheel are folded down. Each folding mechanism has an integrated lock to ensure that the parts stay in place whether they fold or open, avoiding the possibility that the vehicle will turn on / off unexpectedly.
The steering wheel part has a soft, anti-slip grip. The height of the steering wheel can be adjusted to suit the height of the user, while the steering wheel has a built-in LED display with the headlight switch, error prompt, speed, and power switch.
The folding electric Bicycle uses 180W DC brushless low-speed motor with 36V rated voltage. The bike has a retractable pair of pedals, located next to the front wheels, but when the vehicle is in motion, the pedal is only used as a footrest.
Vehicles using lithium-ion compact battery weighs only 1.8kg placed under the seat cushion and can be easily removed for charging. The maximum capacity of the battery is 6000mAh and it only takes 5 hours to fully charge. The battery supports up to 500 charging cycles with a 2-year lifespan. The maximum speed that the Bicycle can achieve is 18k / h and the travel range is 30km.
