Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro models, which were introduced about 10 days ago and are in record sales, are currently coming with Android 7.1 based MIUI 9.2. As you know, Xiaomi does not update the ROMs too often, while beta ROMs are updated every week. Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus (also known as Redmi Note 5) and Redmi Note 5 Pro will be releasing the MIUI Global Beta ROM for their models soon.
Today a news comes directly from the Xiaomi and MIUI official forum that is looking for new beta testers wants to pick up another new “staff” to test the MIUI 9 Global ROM more thoroughly. This is not the first time publicly asking the company to do other “recruitment”, but the whole event is very important this time. However, in order to receive your application, you must own devices such as Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus or Redmi Note 5 Pro.
- Your device runs the latest MIUI Global Developer ROM.
- Have the QQ application installed for communication?
- Speak and write English.
- Be sure to know from ROMs.
- Be active in the forum.
If the above basic requirement is met, the following Xiaomi requirements are as follows: The form to fill out your application is open to users from all regions and the application closes at 11:59 pm (Beijing Time) on March 1st. To apply, download the MIUI forum from the Play Store and select “recruitment” on the homepage. For the whole evolution of your request, you will receive PM from the forum management team. Do note that this is a beta ROM and bugs will need time to get fixed once spotted. The stable build of the same will be rolled out once beta testing is over.
