After the appearance of the official date for the presentation of the new Mi 11 series of smartphones, Xiaomi has released a bunch of teasers revealing some of the features of the new product. To this information can be added leaks, thanks to which the starting price of the Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphones became known. In fact, this not gives a complete picture of the upcoming novelty.
So, today, the company has released another promotional teaser that talks about Wi-Fi 6E support in Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphones. This technology will achieve 3.5 Gbps data transfer rates thanks to 160 MHz bandwidth. Another advantage of the new item, according to the released teasers, is 4K QAM technology for transmitting 4K video with a minimum error rate, which will improve the quality of viewing.
At the moment it is known that the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 platform will debut in this series. According to the information from the leaks, the new items will receive a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Quad HD + resolution. The standard version is expected to receive a 108MP main camera, a 4780mAh battery, and 50W fast charging. At the moment, insiders are reporting three memory configurations (RAM + ROM): 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB.
The GSMarena portal reported on the leak of the price of the smartphone of the basic version of the Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone. According to the report, the price tag starts at $687 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration, $735 for the 8GB + 256GB version, and the top-end configuration with 12GB + 256GB will cost $800.
The prices are nowhere near the Xiaomi Mi 10 cost at its unveiling back in February 2020, with every option being 20% higher now. We are yet to see if the Mi 11 Pro will follow suit. Last year the Mi 10 Pro 5G smartphone was way more expensive than its vanilla sibling in China. The Xiaomi Mi 11 series smartphones will be presented on December 28, stay tuned.
