A few weeks after the release of the stable beta, a version intended to highlight any problems before the definitive release, Xiaomi has started the rollout of MIUI 12 Global Stable for two top of the range last year. So the release, well before what promised by Xiaomi, of MIUI 12 Global Stable for two of the top of the range of 2019 has started. We talk about Xiaomi Mi 9/Mi 9T Pro (Redmi K20 Pro), even if the version affected by the novelty changes.
For Xiaomi Mi 9 it is in fact in MIUI rollout 12.0.1.0 for smartphones with EU ROM, therefore destined for the European market, while for Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro (Redmi K20 Pro) the ROM is intended for owners of a model with ROM MI, the classic global ROM dedicated to international users. How to get MIUI 12 right away
If you have one of the two smartphones and the correct version of the software, you should display a screen like the one below, coming from a Xiaomi Mi 9 with EU rom.
If you do not see the notification, simply open the Settings, System Info, and then System Updates, and press the blue button at the bottom. If you don’t want to wait, you can download the installation files, even if at the moment the OTA version, which can be installed directly from your smartphone, is only available for Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro (Redmi K20 Pro).

For Xiaomi Mi 9 instead, only the file recovery is available, which requires the flash with the Mi Flash Tool, which leads to the loss of the installed data.
