Xiaomi has officially announced which smartphone will feature a 108MP camera, the Mi CC9 Pro. The regular version of this model was released in June, while the new version is due to be released on November 5 in China. However, today, many detailed parameters of the Mi CC9 Pro camera are also shared. It seems that the Mi CC9 Pro will be Xiaomi’s first smartphone with a periscope lens. As follows.
It appears that Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro will be the first phone from the company to arrive with a periscope lens. The first lens in the five camera setup will be a periscope sensor that will allow the phone to support 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom.
The second lens is a 50mm portrait lens of 12MP with a large pixel size of 1.4micron. It supports dual PD autofocus and has an aperture rating of f/2.0 aperture. The third lens is a Samsung-made 108MP lens. It is a 1/1.33-inch sensor with an aperture rating of f/1.7. The fourth one is a 20MP superwide lens with a 117-degree field-of-view. The last one is a super macro lens with a focal length of 1.5cm.
Xiaomi also revealed that the 108MP sensor and periscope will support OIS optical image stabilization. The set of 5 rear cameras also comes with a dual-LED flash. It is known that the price of 5 cameras on Mi CC9 Pro is 5 times higher than the cameras on Mi CC9 launched earlier.
This will definitely be a more improved version of the Mi CC9 in terms of specifications. Other rumors suggest that the Mi CC9 Pro will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and will have a fingerprint sensor below the screen. The selfie camera system of Mi CC 9 Pro will most likely be a 32MP camera.
Xiaomi Mi CC 9 Pro can use 8nm Snapdragon 730G chip, 8GB / 256GB RAM. It can be powered by a 4000mAh battery, runs Android 10, supports NFC and IR blaster (infrared port) based on MIUI 11. There are reports that the Mi CC9 Pro is exclusively sold in China, while the International version will have another name, Mi Note 10 or Mi Note 10 Pro.
