Xiaomi Mi Electric Skate Launched With App, Engine and LED Lights


Xiaomi surprises us with the arrival of a modern skate that incorporates mobile application. And is that Xiaomi is not afraid of launching into an unknown market such as the scooter. ACTON is the first smart skate from Xiaomi that comes to offer us the best of sport and technology.

This skate has been developed by the company ACTON and is designed in Silicon Valley. It has brushless motors housed in its wheels that offer us a high speed, for it Xiaomi has incorporated a 500W battery down the Skateboard. This engine offers a maximum of 15Km / h. The engine is manufactured by LG.

We have a battery housed under the Skate and this battery is manufactured by Samsung, as a result, it gives us a maximum of 12km of autonomy. You can monitor in real time the charging and use of this battery through a mobile application. It also adds a regenerative braking system created by LG.

This battery also adds Led light to see at night the streets and sidewalks for which we skate with the skate and it’s 10 Samsung 18650 batteries that can be charged from 0% to 100 % in 90 minutes. We have a remote control to activate the scooter. The weight of ACTON is 5 Kg and it can bear weight up to 100 kg.

The price of this Xiaomi Electric Skate is 999 yuan (approx $155). This scooter has come out through a crowdfunding campaign, so we will take a few weeks to see it on sale, and when it is on sale in the different Chinese stores it will be at a higher price than in China.
