Xiaomi has recently launched the Mi MIX 2S smartphone and it is also gearing up to debut the Mi 7. The company will be also launching a couple of budget phones this year and among them is the Mi Max 3 that is expected to house a huge display and a battery as seen on predecessor models. The rumor mill has now unearthed some key specs that may arrive on the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
Previous reports have claimed that the Mi Max 3 will be housing a huge display of around 7 inches. Since it will be adopting an 18:9 aspect ratio display, its size will be similar to the predecessor model despite housing a larger screen. This will be made possible by cutting down the size of the bezels.
Xiaomi is rumored to power the Mi Note 4 phone by the upcoming Snapdragon 670. The rumor mill is also claiming that the same SoC could be also present inside the Mi Max 3. Also, it is speculated to house a bigger battery of 5,450mAh capacity. The handset is also rumored to arrive with a dual camera module on its rear. As far as the variants are concerned, the Mi Max 3 may arrive in the market in options like 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It is expected to arrive in the market with a starting price of 1,599 Yuan ($254).
