The Xiaomi Mi Mix was a revolution in the world of smartphones, premiering the first large screen without borders of recent years, from it, we knew a new way of understanding the mobile, more compact. Now it has leaked what could be one of the first images of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S was introduced last March, shortly before the new top of the range, the Xiaomi Mi 8, which is why they had to update the software of their camera to match the one of the latter.
It is curious that on the same day two images that could belong to Xiaomi’s new mobile screen, the third generation of this popular Chinese model, have been leaked. Well, the one that seems more credible is the one that has been filtered in white, and that has the appearance of a press render. This image certainly shows us a very striking aspect in its design, and that could be a before and after in the aspect of this Xiaomi model.
As we can see, there is no front camera on the bottom, as in its predecessors, and there would be no on the top of the screen, as another image of the terminal shows in a dark color. In this whole body image, it is striking that there would be a fingerprint reader under the screen, as shown by the position of the fingerprint. Up to here all good and quite plausible, but there is a third image that the truth has made us doubt the veracity of this leak.
Because in that image we can see a retractable camera almost traced from that of Vivo Nex, which is why in the rest of the images we do not see a front camera since it is hidden in the body of the terminal. We do not refuse to think that they can adopt this solution, but it would not leave in a good place the design team of Xiaomi, who would be copying this solution from Vivo.
Although, of course, there is no need to close in a band that this may be true. In any case, it is logical to think that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 should finally offer a screen that occupies the entire front, so it is logical to think that the Asian firm will find another accommodation to the front camera.
There is still no information on technical specifications or availability of Mi Mix 3, but Xiaomi usually announces its devices to the line in September, so it should not be long before more specific details about it are released.
