Xiaomi Product Director Wang Teng revealed that in the Redmi Note 8 series live event, 108MP was pushed at the end of next month. Some netizens speculated that Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will be unveiled at the end of next month.
It is reported that 108MP is the latest finished HMX sensor from Samsung ISOCELL. It has an ultra-high resolution of up to 12032×9024, with better light input capability and image quality details.
In the core configuration, the Xiaomi MIX 4 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 855 Plus flagship platform. Compared with the Snapdragon 855, the Snapdragon 855 Plus mainly made two upgrades: First, the Kryo 485 CPU clocked up to 2.96GHz, before the Snapdragon 855 was 2.84GHz; second, the Adreno 640 GPU achieved 15% performance improvement.
In addition, Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is expected to support higher power wireless fast charging. Currently, Xiaomi 9 supports 20W wireless flash charging (the world’s first), MIX 4 wireless charging power may break through 20W, and does not rule out the possibility of supporting reverse wireless charging.
