Today, Xiaomi unexpectedly introduced a new line of notebooks Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 Enhanced Edition. As the name implies, the new products are based on the Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 but have several important differences.
Major improvements have been achieved through new processors and a new screen matrix. Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 Enhanced Edition uses the 10th generation Intel Core processors – Core i7-10510U in the top version and Core i5-10210U in the base. As for the matrix, with the previous parameters (IPS, 15.6 inches and Full HD), it provides an expanded color gamut – 100% sRGB.
Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 Enhanced Edition was the first Xiaomi notebook with support for proprietary technology for instant data exchange with a smartphone. It is also implemented in another Xiaomi novelty – RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition.
The cooling system still uses two fans, but now there are also two heat pipes. The laptop also received a full-size backlit keyboard and a 60Wh battery. The thickness of the new case is 16.9mm, weight is about 2 kg.
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 Enhanced Edition will go on sale simultaneously with the RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition – November 1 and $990 will be for the top version with a Core i7-10510U processor, 16GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD.
