Xiaomi Mi9 and Mi MIX 3 5G Android Q Test Package Released

Google introduced new consumer-oriented features in Android 10 Q, which will be completed and released to Pixel devices in the late summer. Now, Google has launched the third beta version of the system and supports no fewer than 21 smartphones from 13 manufacturers. Now Xiaomi International official website has released Xiaomi MI9 and MIX 3 5G Android Q test package, interested users can go to taste.

Official description:

Currently, Xiaomi MIX 3 5G and Mi 9 are in the Android Q Beta program, and developers can use it for free.

before the start:

• 1. Don’t forget to back up your data before upgrading to Android Q.
• 2. Please download the Android Q Beta version of Mi Mix 3 5G and Mi 9.
• 3. Please choose to join the Q version through the fastboot method.

Precautions:

Please note that the beta version is not the final version and some features may still be in development.

Below is a list of known issues you may have encountered in the Android Q Beta release.

Xiaomi Mi9:

• 1. The alarm does not ring when the device is turned off.
• 2. The user restarts the device after selecting the wireless projection device in “Wireless Display”.
• 3. After the user disables the shortcut for the mute device, the Settings application stops running.
• 4. When the “gesture” is selected in “Settings”, the “Settings” application stops running.
• 5. The Files application stops running after it is refreshed.
• 6. Cannot switch screen color in “Settings”
• 7. Can’t “add fingerprint”

Mi Mix 3 5G:

• 1. The alarm does not ring when the device is turned off.
• 2. The user restarts the device after selecting the wireless projection device in “Wireless Display”.
• 3. After the device is connected to WiFi to print the photos in the gallery, the default print service stops.
• 4. After the user disables the shortcut for the mute device, the Settings application stops running.
• 5. After the user selects “Gesture”, the “Settings” application stops running.
• 6. The Files application stops running after it is refreshed.
• 7. It is not possible to switch colors in the settings.
• 8. After selecting “Auto Brightness”, the “Settings” application crashes.
