Since Google released Android Nougat OS in early 2016, quick reply function has been used on Google smartphones, but for those other customized Android ROM, this function always is lack, such as Xiaomi MIUI OS, until MIUI 9 OS, this function still has not been added.
But according to other media, when Xiaomi Redmi note 4 Global Beta test MIUI ROM rolls out, the version is 9.5.4.0.NCFMIFA, Xiaomi has brought new notification style, and quick reply function.
Users can unfold receiving notification by double finger sliding down, and then reply. Meanwhile, this update has updated Google patch to February, to bring new ring, charging reminder, locking and unlocking reminder.
It is noted that the quick reply function only supports Android 7.0 or over based on MIUI 9 OS, in addition, Xiaomi has added this function in MIUI 9 Global ROM, we believe more users will receive soon.
