As previous preview, today Redmi officially announces the price of Redmi 9, 4GB+64GB at 799 yuan, $114, 4GB+128GB at 999 yuan, $142, 6GB+128GB at 1,199 yuan, $171. Currently, the new phone has started to preorder.
Redmi 9 features a 6.53-inch water drop screen, 2340×1080 full HD screen and is certified by TUV RHEinland Low Blu-ray. The processor comes from Mediatek Helio G80, a game-focused chip that runs at 200,000 yuan ($3,600), its performance is similar to that of snapdragon 835.
Officially, you can not only use everyday apps like WeChat and Tiktok with great fluency, but also you can even play major games with near-full frames.
In addition, Redmi 9 supports Game Turbo 2.0, which is optimized for Game intelligence. MI Turbo 2.0 is also supported, with a 35% reduction in lag over 24 months.
The camera has been upgraded to a rear full scene AI quadrangle, including a 13-megapixel super clear master shot, a 5-megapixel macro lens, plus a portrait depth of field lens and an 118° anti-distortion ultra wide Angle lens.
Redmi 9 is built-in 5020mAh large battery, official data standby 27.9 days continuously, daily use two days a charge, supporting 18W fast charge. Dual-band Wi-Fi is supported, including faster 5G Wi-Fi and 2.4g wi-fi with strong wall-penetrating capability.
For storage, Redmi 9 comes with 4GB of memory + 64GB of storage, and 6GB+128GB is optional.
In terms of color, Redmi 9 comes in four colors, including: Lotus powder, Black ink, carbon black and neon blue.
